Our only home, Planet Earth is constantly being battered by unsustainable industrialization resulting in climate change and damaged bio ecosystems.  Besides ravaging weather phenomenon, we have to live with declining quality of air and the rise of new pathogens like the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.  It has now become a new normal for people around the world to put on masks as advised by the World Health Organization (WHO), FDA, CDC, NIH, MOH and other health authorities around the world.

Wearing masks can protect us by reducing air pollutants like PM10/PM2.5/PM0.3 dust particles, allergens, mold spores and also droplets containing virus/bacteria from people who are unwell.  We wear masks to protect ourselves and others.   We believe in responsible living in our shared Planet Earth.

Therefore, it is important to purchase good quality masks that have undergone testing and certification in order to ensure that they provide the protection that we need.  At Cissy Curvy and Vantmask, our product development team ensures that only the best materials are used (using US ASTM F2101 Standard) to make our masks with stringent quality inspection to give you the confidence to use them and live healthily.

Our masks are made using the highest quality materials:

  • Outer layer (Hydrophobic) is premium microfiber using our special water-repellent coating technology

  • Middle layer is high-compact mesh with Bacterial Filtration Efficiency of 99.7% (Tested and Verified using US ASTM F2101 Standard)

  • Inner layer (Hydrophilic) is soft Sports Fabric that is highly breathable and sweat-resistant, providing all-day comfort

  • Hand wash individually and do not mix with other people's masks due to hygiene reasons

  • Wash mask daily to ensure that it is clean before use

  • To wash, add in some detergent into a container of clean water and soak the mask for 3 to 5 minutes

  • Rinse the mask gently by hand with running water

  • Allow the mask to dry naturally under a well ventilated environment (avoid strong direct sunlight).  Do not tumble dry in a dryer.

  • Do not clean the mask with any types of ALCOHOL or other strong chemicals as it may lose its water repellence capability and damage the mask permanently

  • Replace the mask if any of its multi layers is damaged

  • The antibacterial middle layer is sewn in and cannot be replaced

  • Reduction in filter capability is expected as the mask ages due to repeated usage.  Estimated efficacy will reduce after about 30 to 40 washes subject to normal conditions of use.  Replace the mask if there is any doubt.
